I feel it’s been a battle of attrition fought to a stalemate, rather than a win,

In the long run, this is true. It’s living through the pissy times in between that isn’t fun.

I do believe that the times we are facing have had a positive effect. They have brought to light the magnitude of hatred in America I used to believe that it was only a few, rare people who feared and hated their fellow man so much. Now I know it’s at least a third of people.

It also proves what lack of leadership can do. In times of crisis, people tend to come together. The Covid-19 pandemic should have drawn us together. Instead, leadership is using it to drive us apart.

Valuable intelligence. We now know the enemy’s strengths and weaknesses.

It’s a good attitude to have. But do truth and love always win? Obviously not. Add a little common sense to the attitude.
