Used to have to wash dishes too growing up,with my sisters !!!! They’d fight over whose turn it was to wash the dishes!!! Have a dishwasher now ,love it!!!
Once I learned to cook at about age 13, my mom was more than happy to do the dishes as long as I did the cooking. She hated cooking for some reason. I also did the vacuuming and cleaning, except for the laundry. Still do. My early introduction to cooking made sure I always had a job, except for 2020, cook jobs were always available everywhere.
