In the musical, Barnum! there’s a scene where P.T. is losing money because people won’t leave his museum and pay another buck to go back in. So, he makes signs with arrows saying, TO THE EGRESS, calculating that the masses won’t know that it means EXIT. Nancy might have learned a trick or two from him.
