    Classic Bushmiller clowning in panel #2; a flummoxed expression on the face of a paying customer.

    And the three plewds in panel #2 show up on a vertical geometry in contrast to the horizontal geometry of three plewds leaping from Nancy’s head as she stares down a glass of the “awful stuff.”
