Back when there was music class in elementary school we had Ocarinas made from plastic. The music teacher was itinerant and traveled about the district teaching, or attempting to teach us how to play the thing. Most of us could make sounds which vaguely resembled what the song was supposed to be, but we were never very good. I think she lasted 2 years. I remember her from 2nd and 3rd grade is all.
