Oh, I remember those days in 1955, Johnstown, PA. The last place I had home milk delivery. Can’t remember the last ice man delivery, but I think it was in Topeka, Kansas, 1937. Those old enough to remember the four sided ice order card in the window facing the street. It was None, 25 lbs, 50 lbs, or 75 lbs. Our ice box got a 50 lb chunk every third day.
