If they were on the range for marksmanship training/practice they’ve still failed the exercise. They’re not on the firing line so shouldn’t be unholstered either.

You need a gun for this exercise? Uh oh.

Uh, don’t mean to be picky, but the ear protection should be OFF while the instructor is instructing….

I hope he is going to show the how to “shoot them in the leg.”

And where are their masks?

This is interesting. I hope all real life police departments have this type of instruction so the officers will seek mediation first, then armed resolution. Unfortunately, there are too many cops that pull the gun when all that’s happening is a pursuit situation. Back shooting is not how you stop a fleeing suspect.

Good example of “false presumption”. Or, as friend used to say, “never assume. It just makes an ass out of u and me.”

If your first reaction is to pull a gun, you should not be allowed to carry one

Convert all badges to bodycams with no off, & require them to be prominently displayed or your actions aren’t covered by law enforcement legal protections. No knock warrants only in hostage or terrorist situations.

What does unholstered mean? The gun is in their hand?
