It’s going to be more difficult for teams to get to the Super Bowl this year than it is for teams to get to the World Series. Baseball teams only have to field 9 COVID free players.
What will it even mean for the team that wins the Super Bowl ? This whole year 2020 is a mess . And I hear that it is about all sports . Even the NCAA . Short seasoning and way too many injuries for the players . Some of the injuries are for the rest of this season even . Too Bad for sure .
Some people protest the players kneeling, some protest the owners not supporting the players. In either case, not watching the NFL for more than a year.
I love it when irrational people run into reality. Reminds me of deer in the headlights. They just stand there and can’t figure out what is going to happen.
A majority of the players, unfortunatly split along racial lines, are a bunch of overpaid, underachieving, whinning prima donas that have now morphed into social justice warriors in an effort to become relevant. The NFL is dead to me, what a waste.I just listen to my favorite teams local radio broadcast for the weekly game. No politics, no social messaging visuals, just the game and a few station breaks.Plus, it leaves more time to read about hydrogen utilization……..or play reindeer games!
We renamed it to poliball (politcal ball). There is no sports in the game now. All politics, supporting known terrorist groups (BLM and Antifa) and like hollywood full of BS opinions without facts. The NFL should rename itself to NCBL (National crybaby league).
Growing up, it was my mom who was into football. I still remember her yelling at the TV over one thing or another. It’s a good thing she eventually stopped watching, though. Her blood pressure became an issue, and getting that worked up over a game wouldn’t have helped it any.
they are doing there best with all they have had to endure to get to some kind of season. i use to have a favorite team but now i just watch whatever game is the most interesting/most competitive. when i lose interest in it i switch to another one.
There are more things we can do these days besides staring at a screen or each other. Many of us (I’m pretty sure that is true of wherever A&J are) are within a reasonable drive of open spaces. My grandson and I are walking around the block – about 3/4 mile – once a day and we really connect while walking. Tomorrow will be a lot of yard work – not as much fun but still a break from cabin fever.

That’s been me the first 2 weeks of the season: excited football is back but frustrated at my team losing 2 close games
