This reminds me of when my best friend urged me to listen to a new song ‘Relax’ by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. I didn’t really understand it so didn’t really see what the problem was.
Shortly after I started to learn to read, about age 6, I saw the f-word spray painted on a wall. There were some teens, hanging around and I asked them what it meant. They said it was a bad word and that if I said it I would get in big trouble. Well having been previously duped by other teens in to incorrectly believing things I was suspicious. So, I asked a source I trusted at that age, my mother. Oh boy, I got quite a tongue lashing and the 5th degree about from whom I heard it. It’s been over 45 years since then and I can still remember exactly every word she said to me. LOL
Don’t even get me started on cRap. I’m cool with the style but anything that degenerates women and police and with liberal uses of profane and offensive words shouldn’t be allowed. Yeah, I know…free speech and all. Too bad people put that ahead of civility and respect.

Honestly I don’t have a problem with Explicit lyrics as long as it is not rude to women or other races.

If you value your fun childhood, you are NOT to repeat what you’ve just heard around your parents!
