Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
We are looking at cloudy skies and afternoon snow showers, high 37. Looks like Iâve got to get the snowblower out. (0.0)
I think I have spoken of the Bennington Triangle, an aria of land centered around Glastenbury Mountain in Bennington County, VT. Between 1945 and 1950 five people disappeared without a trace after walking into the woods except one who is claimed to have disappeared of from a bus. That last one may have left on his own.
If you want to read more about Vermontâs darker side I suggest âMischief in the Mountains: Strange Tales of Vermont and Vermontersâ. Find out how and why a woman got married in the buff, hunting vampires in the Green Mountains, and chapter 3 âFall of the House of Haydenâ. The book is out of print, but, you might find it in the library.
Today is a most exciting, I get to go to the post office then to the quick stop and back home again. (^.^)
It only got down to 40 last night. WooHoo! And itâll climb up to 55 during the afternoon.
I have my 2 year check up with my Thyroid Doctor this morning, so I gotta get going. Real excitingâŠâŠ..weâll go to Costco afterwards and stock up on perishables and âstuffâ in general. Almost as exciting as Markâs day.
Our low this morning was 52. Better than the past few days. Weâre supposed to get up to the high 70âs today. Warm enough to open the doors and cool enough to open the doors. Perfect.
The first bathroom got finished yesterday, but the master bath still needs to be done, so they will be back tomorrow. They installed the bidet attachment to the toilet when they reinstalled it. I walked by the bathroom door and they were laughing and wiping down the wall opposite the toilet. They had tested the bidet and it squirted all the way across the room (about 3 feet). I chuckled and told them âyouâre supposed to sit downâ and they both broke up again. Later Michael tested it, and was standing in front of the commode. You guessed it, he got the front of his jeans soaked. I tried really hard not to laughâŠ
We got a call yesterday that our new chest of drawers is in and arranged for a Saturday delivery. It wasnât supposed to be here until late November at the earliest. Yay for us! (We could have had it delivered on Friday, but I figured that the master suite was going to be crowded enough with the flooring guys on the job.) So now we will have taken delivery of our mutual anniversary and Christmas presents and it isnât even the end of October yet.
