Mine are always clamoring for attention. Both my feral rescue and my 16-year-old follow me from room to room and sleep on the bed. My 9-year-old who hates the 3-year-old feral stays upstairs but won’t let the feral upstairs. She loves her lap time in the evenings with me and spends most of her day with my husband in his office. I don’t believe I have ever had an aloof cat, they have all been love-bugs. I am surprised at how affectionate the feral is to me and how she loves to play with my husband. Other people need to stay away from her though, she gets defensive very quickly if approached by anyone but us.

Yup some cats do that but ours didn’t and our dogs all had it made. Lola you need to pay more attention to your dog.

Sometimes mine do follow me from room to room, but if I call for them ..one might show up.
