Offending Victorian sensibilities are we?

Well, Mal is smoking a ciggie, and Nyree may not be used to that. But I too bet that Cpt. Barber’s aura is something like the flames of justice. Note that Nyree is still barefoot and also that she appears to be chewing on something —??
