What is legal has nothing to do with what is right.

“It’s integral that we avoid ethics at all costs.”

We’ve been running things past the ethics department for a while now.

“Um, we did away with the Ethics Department years ago, sir.”

O would that it were illegal to be immoral. Though to be fair, I’d hate to trust anybody to be in charge of that law.

When you are on shaky moral ground you have to move quickly.

I’d love to work in the Ethics Department. You don’t get to see anyone, you don’t get invited to any meetings, and no one gives you any work to do! Sounds perfect!

Brave new world, where the legal supersedes the “right thing”.

Lawyers and ethics: not something found in the same room. A friend once mentioned that I seem to be well versed in the laws of the land. He suggested I become a lawyer. I punched him in the mouth and didn’t see him again for 10 years.

Frankly I’m surprised he even thought about ethics.
