You discovered $324,122 while shopping for a house and a mattress? Was it laying on the ground? Did you get either the mattress or house at $324,122, or the $655,000 house? Not knowing the living expense in your area that seems expensive though your picture is the one, it is cute.
We just got a new mattress ~ Doctor’s Choice for side sleepers. It’s been tough. I don’t have my hip indentation and get up feeling like my hips are being realigned. I do sleep really good, though……it’s just the getting up that hurts for awhile. It’s getting better, though. I agree ~ cute house!
So true, so true. We’ve always done it. Back in high school I had to attend a county commissioners meeting as part of a civics or government class. They approved a $2 million water treatment plant (a lot of money in those days) with only a 10 minute discussion. But it took almost two hours to argue over whether they should buy the head secretary of the county an IBM Selectric Typewriter. (And if you know what the latter is…high five!)

That’s quite a house for that price. Don’t ever move to Toronto!

I’m still getting over the trauma of house searching and then all the endless paperwork at closing, and that’s been over six years ago
Learned a lot, and most of it things I never wanted to have to learn

Wait till you see the final cost after Title Company, Home Inspector, bank, lawyer, etc. have added their fees.

Off topic: how did Homeslice come by his name?

The house isn’t worth a hill of beans if the mattress sucks.

A few months ago, I bought a $60,000 king-size mattress. It came with a free 40-foot travel trailer…
