I have yet to find any difference between “cancel culture” and " using one’s own judgement on who or what to support". Until recently, this was considered an intelligent and mature way of living.
In other words, everyone has freedom of speech, but no one is owed any attention from anyone who does not choose to give it.
It’s all too real, Zack. Scary times. I have a good friend, a scientist, who posted some facts on Facebook about the origin and nature of the COVID virus. This was not conspiracy theory stuff but legitimate facts. Within hours, the powers that be at Facebook had them removed. She was stunned. Far too many in this nation claim to “follow the science” but don’t at all. Sadly, it’s “follow the money” which so often leads them away from the science.
