Possibly “re-plagiarizing”. I worked for a database broker. A woman hired us to do research for her Ph.D. thesis. She was warned not to submit our results as her thesis but did it anyway. It was spotted immediately and she was dropped from the program. I don’t think she ever got her doctorate
