Ugh! No you don’t.

Don’t recall ever seeing a personal leaf blower back when this strip is set (ca 1970) just industrial ones the city would use at the curbs. Those were big, heavy machines on wheels.

Kiss the hair blower good-bye.

Necessity is the mother of invention, eh, Red?

If this is the late ‘60s, we might be dealing with an anachronism on both appliances. Having lived through it, I don’t recall hand held hair dryers until the mid ‘70s and leaf blowers came along later. But – because I don’t want to be “that guy” I’ll end with: Funny cartoon and I still love it!

Gas powered noise machines at 5:00 am at the condo in Phoenix – I think they should be banned. Use a broom or a rake and put in a compost site.

Mom is not going to be happy about that. Maybe Rover can serve as lookout, lol!

I thought this was supposed to be set in the 1960s. I don’t remember any leaf blowers back then. Everybody used rakes.

Blowers are the worst invention you get two types of pollution plus blowing it into other areas instead of sweeping it up.
