@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’s nose being broken yet again by Flo’s mum for his statement about her being the beast is OK but Andy and Flo using technology like smart phones is a bit too modern :o) my avatar is a photo of Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean smiling because he is happy like I am , how was your day, and are you feeling well? ours should be busy but calm I hope , it’s not raining , keep safe and BCNU pal.

Very inventive, Andy. The problem is that you have to say who is who. You lose both ways.

Just wait till you sell it on line. I haven’t a clue how it’s done. But some people seem to make a ton of money selling pictures and stuff on line. Than lets see what Flo and her Mum think about that.

Is this the first time Andy has referred to Flo as a beauty?

I’m more surprised that Andy could work the phone, than him getting into trouble with Flo’s Mum!

in the early strips the Capps were dirt poor; they didn’t even have a real phone. They were on welfare, or ‘the dole’ and were constantly fighting with debt collectors and Percy, the man who collected the weekly rent. They’ve evidently moved up to the middle class.

Poor have phones and a life. Always the “entitled” haters who think the poor should have nothing but “poor” At least Andy and Flo still have each other (for better or worse) after 50 years.

Next time, try subtitles, preferably in a foreign language, Andy.

While it’s a little jarring to see Flo with a smartphone, today’s strip is still quite funny. Perhaps Andy should have kept that idea to himself.
