Andre’s mask looks like.. um Andre.

Five years from now: “Remember the time you were sick and I went trick-or-treating for you? You owe me!”

Petey’s performing a noble gesture, but I don’t think the neighbors are going to cough up a lot of Halloween sugary handouts to an older kid with a box on his head.

Sympathy candy tends to be the leftovers at the bottom of the bowl.

Seems like a kind gesture but my siblings would probably take the good candy bars like the 3 Musketeers, Crackle and Milky Way and leave me with the candy corn, sour jawbreakers and licorice. Perhaps Loris can go out with the guys and hit each house twice since she moves so fast and split the rewards with Alice?

That’s very sweet of Petey & Andre. Petey will still be awkward and his costume will go unappreciated, so he may not get a ton of stuff, but that’s probably for the best.

Andre wanted a full-face mask, but that one is the biggest he could find!

Is Andre dressed as Noseybonk (British kids’ show character)?

I remember too many Hallowe’ens that I missed due to illness (and overly protective parents.)

Time to wax sentimental…I will never forget the Halloween I was too stick to go Trick or Treating. Stayed at home in bed (with Dad there) and Mom and my 2 siblings went without me and asked for an extra piece of candy for their sick brother. Worst day of my young life!

And the knowledgeable townsfolk fill the pillowcase with larvae and bugs…

Dill will be heart-broken.

Andre’s real smile as a continuation of his mask is perfect. Go figure the “Kaboom!” personality of Andre would have an understated costume.

I never get tired of Petey being awesome.

What good boys!
