My poor little dachshunds haven’t known what to do with themselves as we’ve just moved into town. They (and I) have always lived out amongst the farmers and fields and they are accustomed to spending hours outside (we had 5 acres) digging up and catching mice and lizards! They still get to do some digging when I take them for their afternoon walk (we spend about an hour and a half) but they were used to doing it everytime they went outside!
