Not to mention the different kind of O-rings!

Estes rockets, loved them! Except had one major malfunction. Rocket’s trajectory was compromised to the extent that it headed for the Club house of a private golf club across the street. Crashed landed on the 18 green. No fatalities, but burned a rather large hole in the green. Once again. I heard my middle name and some guy named Pete in the same sentence.

I’d swear I’ve seen my dog cringe when that little plastic spoon comes out.

Everyone knows how a dog’s temperature is taken.

Makes sense to me, little ones!

You just have to love the expression on the dog’s face while they look back at you and say what the heck with their eyes when their temperature is taking.It is very similar to my avatar on the left.

How awkward to count down intermittently.

I used to work for a vet before there were vet techs, so I didn’t really have any training in some of the fine strokes of animal handling. One day he told be to go bring a cat he was going to do something with. Not knowing, I reached into the cage and the poor terrified thing latched onto my arm with every claw she had. I had to walk into the room with her hanging from my arm like that. The vet looks at me and says, “What are you doing to that cat?” Turns out I should have reached in underneath her instead of over her head.

Being an astronaut is cool.

I just love that Red can hold a conversation AND countdown to launch at the same time!

I’m certain that I’d get one mixed up with the other!
