Reminds me of the scene in the first Indiana Jones movie when Indy is confronted with the guy flashing the saber in the marketplace. Indy, with a bored look, just pulls out his pistol and plugs the guy.
Street gangs in San Francisco were very impressed by martial arts movies in the 70s. Many studied diligently until the first guy brought a gun to the fight.

I like how the gun is pressed against the Master’s temple (pun not intended). Because in the original TV series, the Master was blind.
