I peeked out my door to find out how the Trick-or-Treaters were doing. This would have been a great night to go star gazing! No porch lights as far as I could see! If it wasn’t for that full moon… I might have seen the Milky Way! Guess no Candy Sugar Shock kids this year… no one giving or receiving.
Our town did not cancel Trick-or-treat. Normally, depending on the weather, we get 30-40 groups of kids. As it happens, only 3 groups, totaling 6 kids actually showed up. Very disappointing and we will dispose of the roughly 5 pounds of chocolate candy bars in the traditional manner.
We had a good trick or treat night. Normally about 550 – 600 kids. This year 250 and they had fun. Kids and parents wore masks and basically careful. Pleasantly surprised!

I grew up in the Arctic, often as not Halloween night was a -40 Blizzard. We went out anyway.
