Many countries have roadside attractions including Australia.

I might be wrong, but I think you could technically taste foods without saliva as long as you had some other liquid that the taste compounds could dissolve in for them to enter the taste buds.

In some foods the smell gives you the taste.

I don’t believe that. I can taste food that doesn’t have any saliva in it.

I still don’t want saliva on my food before I put it in my mouth.

Camel’s milk won’t curdle naturally because it becomes alkaline instead of acidic if left out in refrigerated, it can however be forced to ferment for making cheese and yogurts by heating it to temperatures above 90° F and keeping it at that temperature for more than 3 hours

Can you purchase camel milk?

BTW, maybe it’s me, but the “ugly” Lucille Ball statue, did it look negroid?

As a lifelong resident of the NJ shore, I have had the privilege of being inside Lucy during two renovations/restorations; one in the 1970s and the last about 5 years ago. What once was sales offices for shore property lots for wealthy Philadelphians [the original use] is now a lovely apartment available on Airbnb for overnight stays. The windows that are Lucy’s eyes look out on a fantastic beach panorama. She truly is a sight to behold in person.

WITHOUT SALIVA humans cannot taste anything!

What food has saliva?

That explains why my Great Uncle, who was head chef at the most luxurious and prestigious hotel in Milwaukee, spit on your steak if ordered “well done”.

Some believe that during Prohibition from 1920-1933, Lucy might have used her eyes to signal rum-runners. Some believe that Lucy was used as a signaling device. It was a more recent version of Paul Revere and the lights at Old North Church. In this case, the signal told the bootleggers when to come ashore with their cargo of booze. If the rum-runners saw green lights in Lucy’s eyes, it meant that it was a good time to unload their cargo. If red lights beamed from her eyes, the Prohibition Agents were present.

I disagree completely; no way would I even pick up food with saliva on it…
