I hope Ziggy tied that bird house to the tree with wire. If he used rope the heat from the chimney might burn thru it.

The occupant must have fireproofed the inside.

Chestnuts roasting by an open fire….

It’s to keep the squirrels away.

The chimney is in the wrong spot. Should be in the back of the house away from the doorway.

Shouldn’t the snow have melted off the roof?

Let’s see… How do we handle this?

I think I should add this feature to my bird houses. The snow did not melt on the roof because the birds were smart enough to insulate it.
