Spud needs to work on his " line", cause that isn’t working.

I’ve been known to introduce stimulating conversation like this into pauses.

Amelia, there’s nothing stopping you from changing the subject….

What else were they going to talk about? Cheese and pumpkins? Overall, not a bad first date.

Anything involving Spud feels like it’s taking an hour. Often, that’s because it is.

That day, she was amazed to discover that when he was saying “It’s rocking my world”, what he really meant was, “I love you.”

And there’s no way she’s even speaking to him…

Yet, she put up with it..!

Spud – the stunning conversationalist.

Is it just me, or do other people think that Spud’s world is easily rocked?

Yeah, Spud’s not exactly the best at small talk. Probably wouldn’t have mattered if Amelia had started the conversation so to try and lead the topic, even.

As yes the glue. I remember once my cousin was visiting when I was doing something with my best friend. Being the glue is just as awkward.

Amelia’s reaction makes me suspect there’s a lot of perfume in that fabric softener. That could make it hard to stand next to anyone.

Mrs. Baker says I talk too much. I tell her there’s no such thing as “too much.”

I, too, started using a new fabric softener, and it’s pretty great! Spud and I appreciate the little things.

It feels like a drastic change in life.

It always longer when your having the opposite of fun

As Einstein said: “Time is relative.”

Amelia is one of the most unpleasent people to be around…..she can really bring a halt to a fun and enjoyable time. i woder what it would take for her to be upbeat and just a normal kid like Wallace and Spud.

It is all about relishing in the little things …
