Apparently a lot of beers from regular companies have been certified Kosher…
but yeah, obviously not approved for Passover because of the grains.
Â
I saw what must be a special Kosher brewery called He-Brew, which also makes a lot of them…
Some with funny names… one is called “Funky Jewbelation.”
Â
But I’m especially intrigued by the category listing itself…
it defines NON Kosher beer as “Flavored Beer (Requires Certification) OR When brewed in a brewery that makes beer with non-Kosher seafood or meat.”
Â
Now I will wonder forever about where they found that uncertified seafood and meat beer….
or whether there’s a brewery that makes a Kosher brew with certified seafood and meat.
The cat is running in panic because the driver is speeding. He’s in a hurry because he doesn’t want to be late with the delivery after wandering for 40 years in the food desert.

Hey Dan – There is actually a He-Brew. It’s made by Schmaltz Brewery. They make good stuff too. https://shmaltzbrewing.com/

Well, at least Dan allows comments. Why the hell Brooke McEldowny won’t with 9 Chickweed Lane still remains a mystery to me. I welcome any ideas.

Beer is generically kosher; none of the raw ingredients and additives used to brew regular beer present kashrut concerns
