I remember my old phone number when I was a child at home. Haven’t thought of it in many years but it popped right into my head. It began with STate using the ST then numbers.
Internet browsers now come with password lockers. I have a different passwords for every site I visit but I only have to remember the one I use to sign on to the computer.
I remember my dad’s CB call sign from 55 years ago and we only used it for 2 years. Even if I got a CB radio now I could not use his call sign, so why does my brain insist upon retaining it? I was 9 years old the last time I used for Pete’s sake!
Let’s all call up AT&T. And protest to the president’s march. Can you see him smirking and smiling? Cause, he’s got us all diget dialing! Allan Sherman

It’s so true. I’ve had many phone numbers in my 71 years but only remember the first 2!

Wouldn’t the first 2 digits have been letters instead of numbers? Ours was HEmlock, for the 4 and 3.

My childhood number was my parents and they had it for 50 years. How could I forget it.

Wait…. She must be younger than she looks. They didn’t adopt all digit dialing until the ’60s.

the solution is simple….I’ve used phone number of the home I grew up in as passwords.
especially using the old prefix word that has long been discarded.
Also, my old address and street number , impossible to forget, is a good password to use.

I had a phone number that started with 778 for over 30 years … had it disconnected early this year due to all of the daily spam calls

The childhood phone memory would not begin with 77. Try Prospect 8-4942
