He will be fine until he gets to the carnauba wax. The air dryer after that won’t be no picnic either.

Don’t forget to get a couple of those pine tree air fresheners for your armpits.

Years ago, we had a guy in our lab who had an El Camino pick-up. We lined the bed with polyethylene sheeting, and sealed it so that the bed was water tight. We had a water drainage area that had collected some discarded gold fish that had been there for years. They had grown quite large, as big as Koi Fish. We knew that they were going to drain the area so that the coming rain season had a place to fill, and that would kill the fish.

We put them in the back of this guys’ truck. Filled it about 1/2 way with water roughly 4′ × 6′ × 2′ of space or 48 cu feet (400 lbs. of water). We replaced the tarp and figured when the first rain came, we would put them back in the drainage area.

Two weeks went by without rain, and this guy notices that his mileage is down. (From 12 miles a gallon to 6-8 mpg) He NEVER once heard the water slosh around, or saw the fish, and as we guessed, the truck bed and tarp were for show, he never opened it. This guy had a big Pioneer radio system with monster speakers, so yeah, he wasn’t hearing anything but “Eye of the Tiger” and “Stairway to Heaven”.

Glad when it rained, though, because we managed to take the fish out and put them back in the drainage area. We were tempted to leave the water in the bed to see how long it would take for numnutz to notice it, but decided to flush it out. He reported to us that he had a carburetor overhaul and his mileage was back to 12 miles a gallon!
