First time I had bronchitis (annual for me), they gave me a cough medicine with codeine. They told me the codeine would knock me out.
Didn’t do a dang thing.

Most people don’t realize that Nyquil is 25% alcohol (about 50 proof) which makes it much stronger than a beer.
