It’s still amazing to me how both sets of parents are such self-absorbed big babies (well, not her dad but still). Guess Sedine and Sam will have a peaceful Thanksgiving this year. (dramatic pause) GOOD!!!!!
Our thanksgiving were mostly always nice since we always lived a long way from home. We do on occasion have her mom and step father, sister come but they never argue. Due to Covid, this year it is just me and the wife. We plan on making a full meal (Pecan and Lemon Meringue pies, Ham, Funeral potatoes, Artisan Bread, Honey nut glazed squash with cranberries and feta cheese). Deserts first, life is too short.
This is appropriate seeing on how a lot of families won’t be getting together this Thanksgiving. Same with my, just going to be me, my folks and my sister staying at home; maybe do a virtual thing.
This may seems like cause for celebration; but less not forget that Ellie, Hubb and Al should still be coming over, so there should still be plenty body drama.
Honestly having the old crazy folks over might had somehow helped with Ellie’s mental decline.
Since Mom passed earlier this year and Dad passed a few years ago, I’m just going to work all the holidays this year. I feel like those who can possibly spend it with their families (no matter how sparse it’s going to be this year) the better. I hope everyone has a peaceful, happy Thanksgiving, seperated from loved ones or not!
If Sam’s parents were smoking weed, they would have just laughed and hung up the phone. Maybe they’ve switched to crack? Or maybe all the way over the edge to Starbucks’ “caffeine-enhanced” triple espressos. (Triple tall breve toffee-nut lattes are so gooooodddd…)
Sorry if I sound bad but I told the wife if # 1 daughter calls and invites us over tell her dad had a truck fall on him at work or he went to the store and has’nt come back, her boy friend is a great cook and I’m sure dinner would be great but I just want to stay home for thanksgiving.
Hey guys, today won’t have an update because…we didn’t manage to finish it in time O.O. If you are on our Patreon, you probably already know, but for everyone else: My husband needs cataract surgery and in the past two weeks we had to head to several check ups and stuff which kept us away from doing art (we live rural and one doctors appointment pretty much takes up half of the day…) His first surgery is next Monday and the second is the week after. We plan on releasing new updates until Thanksgiving and then have a three week semi hiatus for him to recover and to catch back up on comics. Today we will skip but we will publish from tomorrow until Thanksgiving without breaks. The Monday after Thanksgiving will be re-runs. We hope for your understanding ^^

You know what…? I don’t think Sedine and Sam will ever see Clo-Chi 2.0 ever again.

On the bright side, Sam and Sedine don’t have to stock up on extra Scotch this year…
Hopefully.

I wouldn’t invite Sam’s parents back over after they stole Sedine’s baby

Considering it’s the year of social distancing you are better off with just the both of you.
