Okay . . . I thought he was going to say a bee flew up his nose.

I guess that it’s true (at least in this case) that “every rose has its thorn”.;-D

He smelled too many roses .

When I retired I thought I would have plenty of time to stop and smell the roses. Then I got my Honey Do list. sigh.

Chip off the old block.

Smell the roses, Definitely. However, you have to fulfill your life obligations at the same time. Balance. A lesson learned…..

People can make you go from adoring the work you do to counting the days until you retire. Disability becomes ‘The Gods smiled on me’.

I hope he didn’t try and use that excuse at school.

OK, there’s a proviso, smell the roses when you don’t have someplace to be.

I stuck my honey do list under the bottom of my boat. Guess you can say I sit on it. Yes, I take my other “honey do” fishing with me. She loves it also.

I do not like how schools expect kids to be on time. Seriously it’s too stressful on the kids. I would like to do away with requiring kids to be on time or better yet have schools at a later hour.
