Why would I find an ivy-covered, seaside Chinese ghost town unbelievable?

In Georgia kudzu rampantly growing over trees and shrubs is deemed a problem and they want to take care of it, IMO I don’t see why it would be a problem I think it adds to natures beauty

That car eventually morphed into the modern RV.

Anyone here ever seen video of the armless guitar player in San Diego? It’s pretty impressive how people can adapt to disabilities, especially when they start young.

Carl is just more proof that people can accomplish incredible things when they absolutely have to.

That car was in a museum display back in the day. It was an amazing thing to see.

You can find ivy and vegetation growing over just about any abandoned place, except maybe at the North and south poles. You should see some of the Mayan ruins; if you can find them.

The car failed because the single wheel was in the back. Poor stability, terrible turning and fish tailing. Great on a straightaway tho.

The car was a marketing failure, so Fuller went into the brush business.

The village was abandoned before China trended toward vegetarians.

Unthan’s physician, a Dr, Scholl, recommended the violin rather than Carl’s first choice, musical spoons.

Heh, I’ve been recalling “The Unknown” lately. That’s about a man who performs many tricks with his feet, only pretending to have lost his arms.

Violin with his feet? Wow! I’d never think of that even when I play my violin.

A highly publicized16 accident in Prototype One (of the Dymaxion) October 27, 1933, occurred “virtually at the entrance to the Chicago Century of Progress World’s Fair.”28 Another car, driven by a Chicago South Park Commissioner, had hit the Dymaxion, causing it to roll over – killing the dymaxion’s driver (race car driver Francis T. Turner of Birmingham, Alabama) and seriously injuring its passengers: aviation pioneer (and noted spy) William Sempill and Charles Dollfuss, Air Minister of France.16 The politician’s car was quickly and illegally removed from the scene of the accident before reporters arrived.10 Turner was wearing a seatbelt but was killed when the canvas-covered roof framing collapsed.10 Dollfuss was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and landed nearby on his feet.10 Sempill was severely injured and took months to recover before he could testify at the subsequent inquest.10 The Dymaxion itself had rolled over and was badly damaged but was subsequently repaired by Fuller and Burgess.28 -from Wikipedia

Decades ago, car design looked at a tear drop which is a fluid shaped by wind resistance and gravity into what was supposed to be the perfect shape. There were several cars that took that inspiration, this being one of them. But as the tear drop tapers to the rear, this made the rear cassette house a single wheel.

    Still, ugly as sin.
