@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny , but its a repeat , Our HERO Mr Andrew Capp’ s interest towards any aquaintance is mooching money ,but everybody knows that Andy never intends to pay it back :o) there is a saying that it is best to borrow from a pessimist because they don’t expect it back , my avatar is a cartoon of Dennis the menace saying that since everybody has taken their flu shot , he doesn’t need to, he couldn’t be more wrong nowadays with this pandemic going on, this year I intend to take the flu , and the antivirus shot , I don’t want to die I have so much to live for thank God , how was your day? our day should be very busy but calm I hope ,unpacking our Christmas decorations and Connie making mince pies and Xmas logs for us and my sons, keep safe and thanks for caring pal, Bella sends her love.
In another strip, Andy pretended to be someone else as he was mistaken for somebody who used to work in a garage. When he was offered £50 to which the man “owed” him for, Andy, of course took full advantage of the mistake and went along with it. Haha.
I rang my doctors over a week ago about getting booked in for the flu jab (or shot) but according to their “systems” I am not eligible even though it says I am on the NHS website. I live with a shielding person and that is my Dad.
I don’t want to push it though as there are many more vulnerable people out there who needs it more than I do. If I really want one, I won’t mind paying for it. But I’m not all that bothered.
As for the COVID-19 vaccine, I’m just going to “wait it out” for a while and see if other people are still fit and well after having it. If they offer it to me, I probably will have it. Just want this whole thing over.
Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. x2 Love to Bella.

I see that Andy pounds the pavement looking for people who could lose a few pounds.
By the way, could anyone please explain how the word quid got associated with U.K. pound sterling?

I’ve never heard the expression “donkey’s years”. How is a donkey’s year different from your ordinary year?

Truly no shame. Andy would have made a good salesman, politician, or lawyer if he had had the gumption to actually get a job.

Andy certainly is unforgettable, though some of the people he’s met wish they could.
