There does appear to be proof that Russian and Chinese operatives were making use of social media to try to influence the 2016 election. There is some pretty clear evidence that someone was trying to use social media to influence this election… against Biden… but a lot of it is bound up in the QAnon lunacy, so it’s a lot less clear… so far… who was doing it. And of course social media makes the largest profits when they act as an amplifier for extreme views…
