Modern “art” is nothing but something that deserves to be in a trash can.

Herb Jackson was my art professor in college, and as much as he tried to explain it, I never “got” abstract art…

Mom calls it a munch of crap.

My wife has recently, after many decades, started painting again. She has been a bit Pollocky too, drips of paint here and there that so far I’ve spotted in time for easy cleanup. (She’s putting out some excellent work too!)

I once went to an event where they allowed your dog to dip paws in non toxic paints and make a piece of art. While the “art” was drying we enjoyed the rest of the event. When I went back to pick up my dog’s “art” and I was told several people tried to buy it! I have it framed on my wall. Still get compliments! She was an amazing dog.

And it comes with “Wet Dog” smell-o-vision.

This is the second “Jackson Pollock” joke I’ve seen today. What is it his birthday?

And some sucker – I mean art lover – will probably buy it.

I hate it when that happens.
