Used to be that you could count on some common sense from folks because most of them either WERE farmers or had grown up farming before they found a better way. And lemme tell you: A farmer may not be smart or wise, but a farmer understands consequences. Now, almost half the nation doesn’t even believe that facts matter because they’ve hardly ever met one, and many of their teachers confuse a fact with a favorite opinion.
