Should have seen this coming days ago, but I have to admit that I didn’t.

My dad was a long haul driver and my sister could jam gears with the best of them when she was 14. The wife of the guy my dad worked for drove with him all the time and that was in the 1950’s

My niece would drive with her husband on long hauls. On the CB she was known as Little Beaver………Truckers! :)

Nice payoff to the week-long buildup!

It’s definitely a skill but not necessarily for everyone….

I wonder if Luann has ever been to a Truck Stop – at 2 a.m. :)

I’m a few weeks behind watching recordings of what used to be called “Roseanne” but on an episode I watched last night Jackie reminded us she used to be a cop and a trucker.

There was one B.J. McKay who drove with a chimpanzee for a partner.

I remember there was an episode of Charlies Angels that centered on a mystery involving female truckers. It was during the first season, and Farrah Fawcett’s character got the CB handle “Angel Eyes”.

Ever since trucks got power steering women have been drivers.
