Even when this strip was new, when Frank was young jeans came in multiple styles. Straight legs, boot cut, flares, bells, button fly, zipper fly and several others. The major difference between then and now (or Then, then and Then, now) was the limited number of brands. All of this is aside the point. He has jeans. He likes how they fit. He doesn’t need or want new ones. This is all to make Nancy happy.
i have never been able to buy clothes that fit properly. I have a 54 shoulder, 40 waist and 28 inseam. Nothing fits without alterations. oh and I take a size 14 6E shoe, but they are tight on the sides of my feet. Tried going to a 15 but then i had no support for my feet.

Didn’t they sell “relaxed fit” jeans in the 1990’s?
