I imagine in Michigan they build and dress for the climate though, whereas maybe in Texas people don’t take special precautions?
I appreciate this strip, though, because I live in a place that gets moderately cold (sometimes a max of 2°C/36°F in winter) but it’s too low to snow, so houses aren’t built for warmth and people dress in relatively light clothing.
Hm. I wonder how often that happens, when Florida and Colorado have exactly the same temperature range on the same day. And records show December is the coldest month in the Rockies.
It must really thin one’s blood living down in TX, because my friend has been down there for 10 years and she will text me and say “It is 70 degrees here, so I put pants and a sweater on”. (We are both from North Dakota, by the way.) ;)
LOL I grew up south of Buffalo NY and still would go out in shorts and sandals in the snow I moved to VA when I got married and they complained about how cold it was at 60. All winter I am wearing shorts and t-shirts no jackets and they are wearing parka’s. On the other hand in the summer… I hated to go outside!

It’s in the 40’s in South Fl. right now. Going back up to 67 today. I love it. At least you don’t have to hot in that today.

Yeah, there isn’t ANYTHING like a Midwestern winter. I’ve been a Midwestern girl all my life. It is so cold, your feet are like POPSICLES.

It is all relative. Add or subtract layers until you find your comfort level.

Well, you won’t have to worry about cold temperatures for long. Right, climate change?
