there’s something that’s been bugging me, whenever i read these pages: why doesn’t Sedine like sugar in the 1st place?

I’m not sure what Sedine wants to make, but a cake it’s not.

I personally draw the culinary line at “flakey plant-thingies”…….

Carrot cake maybe? I had a good grilled cheese with onion flavored jam on it once. Rhubarb pie?

Never thought about it until she mentioned the garlic and onion, but how does Sedine keep her breath tolerable?

Christmas is close, and the shopping season makes me think of the perfect gift Sam should give Sedine; jalapeño-print panties! She’d love them and it would teach Sam to love spicy things as much as she does! XD

Sedine’s love for spicy food must be why she wanted to go to Mexico for her honeymoon, I guess her second choice would’ve been India, any other country known for spicy national cuisine?

Yanno, it’s easy to call her a weirdo for this, but in all honesty, disliking added sugars is probably a good thing.

Or they could just make a pain d’épices…avec épices plus d’Indienne…

…although that would probably make it more like garlic bread with add-ons baked in…

And its still hasn’t connected with Sam that his wife is only wearing an apron… move on.

    Symbolizes their marriage… he’s sweet and she’s a flaky plant-thingy?

BTW, in Mexico they put spicy on fruit. And peppers in chocolate.

No, it is a culinary metaphor for Clo- chi, an abomination.

And this was the FIRST hint that Sedine was a little off her rocker.

It was about this time I realize Sedine was an manic pixie dream girl or anime heroine.1

My wife is filipina and LOVES sour and spicy food. A lot of food is served with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce, Calamansi (Philippine orange) and Philippine chilies ( like Thai chilies) or soy sauce with coconut vinegar. I am like Sam, the one with a sweet tooth in the house. She makes the greatest tinapay ng saging (banana bread), she does not even like it, she makes it just for me:)
