Could at least get a baby toy that makes music when moved to throw her off.

One year my Mom didn’t name the packages, but just placed numbers on them. She kept the master list of what numbered package belonged to a particular person.

This is why I like to include those toys that make cow and sheep noises when I wrap.

I cannot understand why people shake and jiggle their presents, trying so hard to figure out what’s inside. One might be intrigued but, isn’t the surprise more fun? (or am I and old fuddy duddy?)

Now that we’ve seen Steenz’ work for a while, I’m really liking his/her style, except that sometimes I can’t tell Mom from the kids. She ought to be drawn a bit older.

Remember a tale of a king(?) who had a sheep “dirtied” with soot and told a couple a arguing men that if they each put a hand on the sheep, the sincere one will keep his hand clean; the dialog was a ruse, and the man with clean hands was judged the liar because he feared risking “dirtying” up his hand and being outed as as the liar while the innocent man went along with that test and got a sooty hand.
