This whole year has been one day at a time, dealing with the insanity outside our doors. And suddenly, it’s Thanksgiving – when all of our family gathering should have been electronically – and then… Christmas!
This year we got a bit ahead. All the decorations are up, interior and exterior. And that includes some new ones for this year. Baking supplies are in and ready. Presents are wrapped and shipped or ordered and on their way. Other stuff out of storage/closets like clothes, blankets, comforters, etc. We have been checking our lists and checking again. The Mrs now has nothing to panic about. Life is good.
Hahaha, yep! I’ve had more free time this year than usual, yet my house looks almost the same (a little better) and I’m not ahead for Christmas either.
If Cathy would just stop obsessing (right!) over gifts for friends and co-workers who certainly doesn’t need them, she would have time for her husband and parent’s gifts, and be done with it.
Personally, I feel like I’m always behind on stuff. However, I try to keep accomplishing one thing at a time, and at least make a dent in my to-do list …

Not surprising for a procrastinator like Cathy. Her motto must be, “Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can put off for the next day.”

It looks like we will be locked down, or more restrictions back in place, the way things are going. Look for a happier New Year, maybe 2022….
