True story: When comps used floppies, an employee called up my buddy who was in IT and told him that their cup -holder had broken….
Some urban legends I remember from the early days of office computing:
“Hello, IT support? The instruction says to press any key. Where’s the Any Key?”
Or the person who tried to roll a 5.25" floppy into a typewriter, in order to type a file name on the label.
I swear I have had tech support calls close to that bad!
