Two week delay; not known is whether strips are submitted six at a time (Sundays have their own deadline schedule). Any guesses how Scott might handle Trump’s Rebellion?

Other than, by the time we see it, the clock will likely have run out anyway.

I get a weekly spam email from an m&a broker for small tech firms, an ex-marine. When Trump does something outrageous he waxes eloquent. Made me take him out of the spam rules.

Ken Marlin: The Eyes of All People are Upon Us. Our January Fintech, Data & Analytics M&A Update

“Today the eyes of all people are truly upon us—and our governments, in every branch, at every level, national, State, and local, must be as a city upon a hill—constructed and inhabited by men aware of their grave trust and their great responsibilities.”— John F. Kennedy. January 9, 1961 – exactly 60 years ago today, as I write this… A strong 2021 presumes continued economic strength and a return to political stability – and that’s where the eyes of all people are now turned. … We start this New Year with the eyes of all people upon us – most believing that, with leadership, we will unite to overcome these challenges – and reclaim the mantle as “…a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for people everywhere.”

Apparently, for too many on Carmen’s team “normal” = abhorrent.

    Wacko wacko wacko here.

While (with?) 147 elected congressmen (and women) (including our own shame from Colorado, Lauren Boebert) with the express purpose of disruption and obstruction of the Electoral College vote,…

One thing the insurrection accomplished: The Electoral College vote was certified that night. Late into the night, but that night, nonetheless.

Had there not been the seditious insurrection, the 147 traitors in Congress may well have delayed the vote counting days, if not weeks, perhaps all the way up to the 20th. (Remember, each sustained objection throws both houses into yet another two hour delay – I’m figuring they were going to wage a “war of attrition” on fellow members – maybe seeing they could “wear down” the others) (kind of like a “filibuster”)

And if I recall, there were at least six Senators, again breaking tradition, voting against the final certification.

Good grief! If that vote were anything less than 100%, then what’s going on here?

President Donald Trump is reportedly more upset that one of his club’s will no longer host a PGA golf tournament than he is about a second possible impeachment.Trump is “gutted” by PGA’s decision to pull the 2022 Championship from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman reported on Monday. The reporting comes as House Democrats formally introduced an article of impeachment against Trump, charging him with incitement of insurrection.

Losing privileges to host a professional golf tournament has apparently infuriated President Donald Trump more than other recent developments following the US Capitol riots he incited.

Trump is “gutted” at the PGA of America’s decision on Sunday to pull its 2022 Championship from Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman reported on Monday.

The contract termination is a response to pro-Trump supporters storming the Capitol grounds last Wednesday, according to PGA organizers. The chaos, which took place while Congress had met to certify President-elect Joe Biden’s 2020 win, left five people dead, including one Capitol police officer. In the days since, Trump has faced mounting backlash from companies, lawmakers, and voters alike.

“We find ourselves in a political situation not of our making,” PGA CEO Seth Waugh told the Associated Press. “We’re fiduciaries for our members, for the game, for our mission, and for our brand. And how do we best protect that? Our feeling was given the tragic events of Wednesday that we could no longer hold it at Bedminster. The damage could have been irreparable. The only real course of action was to leave.” The Trump Organization disputed the move, arguing that it has “invested many, many millions of dollars” into the event.

White Trump Supporters Shocked To Learn That ‘Law And Order’ Might Apply To Them

This is absurd. Last Tuesday, I wrote that the Capitol is one of the most secure buildings in the nation, a remark that’s aged as well as boxed wine. Cudd considers herself somehow better than the “mob" that invaded the McCloskey’s private street. It is perfectly acceptable for her and her fellow MAGA goons to “break down" Pelosi’s office door. She doesn’t understand how this is a crime. She’s free, white, and over 21.

During the protests this summer, Trump issued an executive order imposing draconian penalties on anyone who damaged federal property. The following passage suffocates irony with a fluffy pillow.

Anarchists and left-wing extremists have sought to advance a fringe ideology that paints the United States of America as fundamentally unjust and have sought to impose that ideology on Americans through violence and mob intimidation. They have led riots in the streets, burned police vehicles, killed and assaulted government officers as well as business owners defending their property, and even seized an area within one city where law and order gave way to anarchy. During the unrest, innocent citizens also have been harmed and killed. These criminal acts are frequently planned and supported by agitators who have traveled across State lines to promote their own violent agenda. These radicals shamelessly attack the legitimacy of our institutions and the very rule of law itself.
