OK, now this has got me wondering if they actually do tie vessels as heavy as aircraft carriers to the dock. I’ve visited the U.S.S. Enterprise in New York City, but that’s probably stabilized in an unconventional manner (and don’t remember that far back anyway). And if they do lash them to the pilings, is it with rope or chain?
