We don’t really care for frozen pizza. There are a few decent ones but they don’t compare to fresh from a proper pizzeria. Call it hometown snobbery but it seems the farther you get from where you grew up, the worse the pizza. By the way, we never snuggled in front of a fireplace even once but still managed to have a couple kids.
We converted our wood burning fireplace to a gas one. Now you flip it on, instant fire. Flip it off, no worries about burning embers when you go off to sleep. Plus no clean up, no buying wood. What could be easier? And no, I don’t sell or install gas fireplaces. They are just better.
Making fires is one of those things that often was a hassle – cleaning out old ashes, carving off kindling for the start, nursing the fire up to a self sustaining point – that, when I did it, I never regretted doing it. Now, I think there are probably times I regret not making a fire because it seemed like too much work.

Yeah, but the perks make up for it. Snuggling under the blanket as she sleeps in your loving embrace.

Childhood friend and his wife sent me six tubs of soup to heat and eat. Had my insides cut on in Oct. and soup is a staple.

Arlo just tried to create a romantic mood. Too bad Janis is tired!

I just found an Comcast Xfinity App called “Ambient Moods” that among other things, has a “Fireplace” App.

Gas fireplace. Although it’s really not too hard to start a fire with logs.

Snow on the roof and the fire is virtual.
