Alice isn’t being very nice to the puppy. All puppies are cute, and all her friends thought he was adorable.

Gee, I get the impression she didn’t like the puppy after all. :D

Poor pupper couldn’t meed Alice’s high expectations…

Taking this seriously, it shows the power of positive reinforcement. I know my boss is ticking off a box on the “Management 101 Checklist”, but I still appreciate the odd attaboy.

I’ll bet that little hellion Alice doesn’t even care if she steps on a crack!

Being picky here, but shouldn’t the underline in the last panel be under the “I’ll”?

Petey is smiling. Just don’t start skipping.

hasn’t Alice ever seen a puppy before? some can be very small, are awkward looking in the way they maneuver around, and have bulging eyes like pugs and pekingese.

I’m totally with My Hero, Petey. I’ve got two right feet (I’m left-handed and left-footed): my brain and my feet are disconnected.

Alice remains jealous of Kevin and frustrated with herself….

But didn’t all of Alice’s little “friends” declare Kevin’s new puppy to be so kyooot! ?
