yeah, Alice, or else there’ll never be snow

Should’ve listened to buckethead Kevin, Alice; at least he had the science (sort of).

These two are desperate.

Alice can scare anything in nature….

I know how you feel Alice; the promise of a good snowfall exaggerated….

Wow looks like thundersnow clouds

I’m on the SE coast of CT, close enough to the water that if I stand on the hill in my yard and crane my neck just right, I can see water. I watch the radar with anticipation, seeing these big T-storms or snow bands racing towards me, and then they hit the milder ocean air and fizzle. I can drive north from an inch of snow and in ten miles be in eight inches. Pooh!

From what I can tell around here, the way kids make it snow is to wear their pajamas wrong side out the night before…

It’s just a cloud of exhaust from a semi-truck, Alice.

“You’ll scare all the weather away”.

“It’s more important to know whether there’ll be weather than what the weather will be.”

So is there the opposite of a rain dance? Maybe an “I hate you weather” dance?

But did they flush the ice cubes the night before like they were supposed to?

Beni knows Alice is a force to be reckoned with!

I just came in from clearing 12" from the drive and walks.

She should do a snow dance on her manhole cover.

When this was first printed we pasted a copy on the bullletin board at work but wrote in rain for snow since we were in a drought!

In my experience, it only snows when the sky is completely flat white, like a sheet was stretched over it corner-to-corner. If you can actually SEE a cloud, it’s not ready to snow.

Alice is very scary—and that’s true even with Beni to try to restrain her excessive megalomania.

We just got a big snow. If Alice wants it, she’s welcome to it!

I bought my current home when I retired fourteen years ago, and have never had snow here. Today, it’s gotten very cold and the weather report says to expect “multiple inches”. I am long, long, very long past my childhood love of snow…
