I live in Texas and getting them will be inordinately difficult. I have 2 comorbidities that will surly kill me if I get infected. The US at heart is barbaric which is why medical care is so iffy and expensive.
My wife got her first shot. She is a Congregational Nurse – a program that is supported by our local Hospital system. The plan is to get them the second shot on schedule and then send them out to the field armed with vaccinations. Almost all of these women (yes, all 50+ of them are female) are over 65.
As for me, I have the great fortune to be able continue to “hunker down” until my number is called.
